ANTONIO BEGINS RESIDENCY WITH THE WESTCHESTER PHILHARMONIC
Antonio has been named the 'Composer in Residence' for The Westchester Philharmonic youth outreach program, Glossiconophonometamorphosis. As part of his residency, he will compose a new orchestral work to be premiered by the orchestra in April. He will also discuss orchestral instrumentation and the creative process with children from various school districts throughout Westchester county.

ANTONIO WINS JEROME FOUNDATION GRANT
Antonio received a 2004 Jerome Foundation Grant administered through the American Composers Forum to compose his first full length opera. Georgia Southern University commissioned the opera.

SONGS OF SEPARATION IN THE 2004 NATS SONG CYCLE COMPETITION
Antonio's fifteen minute song cycle, Songs of Separation, was named a Finalist in the 2004 national competition. The work was recognized as a finalist at the NATS national convention in New Orleans in July 2004. Songs of Separation was originally premiered in Dresden, Germany in 2003.
