| ANTONIO BEGINS RESIDENCY WITH THE WESTCHESTER PHILHARMONIC |
| Antonio has been named the 'Composer in Residence'
for The Westchester Philharmonic youth outreach program,
Glossiconophonometamorphosis. As part of his residency, he will compose a new orchestral work
to be premiered by the orchestra in April. He will also discuss orchestral instrumentation and
the creative process with children from various school districts throughout Westchester county. |
| ANTONIO WINS JEROME FOUNDATION GRANT |
| Antonio received a 2004 Jerome Foundation Grant
administered through the American Composers Forum to compose his first full length opera.
Georgia Southern University commissioned the opera. |
| SONGS OF SEPARATION IN THE 2004 NATS SONG CYCLE COMPETITION |
| Antonio's fifteen minute song cycle,
Songs of Separation,
was named a Finalist in the 2004 national competition. The work was recognized as a finalist at the NATS national convention in New Orleans in July 2004. Songs of Separation was originally
premiered in Dresden, Germany in 2003.
